Episode 82: How Knowing How to Sell Saved My Life — And Why It Will Change Your Clients’ Lives Too

Season #1

At the beginning of this year I was handed a life card I was not expecting. A lot of pain. A lot of unknown. And the one thing that carried me through was the skill of selling. Not selling to clients. Selling myself on a future I could not yet see.

In this episode I am sharing something I have never talked about publicly before. And I am sharing it because I think every single person who has ever held back in their sales process needs to hear this.

All sales is, is a transference of belief. Someone does not buy from you because they do not think they can have the outcome they want. It is not about you. It is about their own belief in what is possible for their life. And your job is to crack that open.

I talk about why selling is genuinely the kindest thing you can do for another person, what it actually means to meet someone in their objection, and why giving up on someone in the sales process is the one thing you should never do.

Because when you do not give up on people, when you hold the possibility for them that they cannot hold for themselves, that is where lives change. I have seen it with my clients again and again. And this year I lived it myself.
