Episode 59 - Why I Chose Evergreen After 300K Launches (Part 3)
There are ways to build a business that create pressure.
And there are ways to build a business that create freedom.
Evergreen — when done right — is about freedom.
In this episode, I’m sharing why I chose to walk away from back-to-back 100K launches — even after three 300K launches in a row — and move into an evergreen model instead. Not because launches don’t work. They do. I was very good at them. But I didn’t want my income tied to pressure moments anymore.
I talk about what actually changed when I shifted from launch cycles to ongoing enrollment, why my retention jumped from 65% to 99%, and how evergreen allowed me to give a higher quality client experience while working less.
We dive into what makes evergreen powerful (and what makes it fall flat), why onboarding is everything, how culture and community create faster results, and the difference between selling something that’s “always available” versus selling with real urgency and intention.
This episode is about building a business where you choose when to turn the pressure on — not one where you need it to survive.
